Dr. Rachel K. Levy is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the research and treatment of addictions, eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Dr. Levy is an expert in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Positive Psychology. She treats individuals, couples, and families.
Before joining Wholeview Wellness, Dr. Levy was a Research Scientist in the Department of Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Medical Center and specialized in eating disorders. She has served as an adjunct professor teaching courses on Drug and Alcohol Use Research and serves as a clinical supervisor for doctoral students. Dr. Levy has maintained a private practice in Westchester County for over 20 years.
Dr. Levy completed her APA-approved psychology internship at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in clinical psychology at The State University of New York at Buffalo on full scholarship. During that time she worked for 4 years at the Research Institute on Addictions in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Levy graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
